"There’s just something beautiful about walking on snow that nobody else has walked on. It makes you believe you’re special."

FRESH SNOW! I don't think anyone would argue that we had one of the most beautiful winter wonderlands this past week. I swear I woke up everyday inside a snow globe, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes [Oh how I wish that was what winter always looked like]. But just like that, the temperatures rose and the trees are bare again.
Not to worry, our local meteorologist has informed me that Elkhorn will get anywhere from a dusting to 12'' of snow this week! This is the standard measurement I currently use whenever there is talk of snow. It helps moderate disappointment and complete surprise when I look out the window in expectation of what the weather man or woman has forecasted.
Either way, there is a real possibility that we will see a newly laid blanket of frozen precipitation. If you're one of the lucky ones who finds themselves standing at the edge of an untouched snowy landscape, I encourage you to go where no footprints have gone before! Heck! If there is time maybe try out a snow angel, a snowman or if you're feeling overzealous give an igloo a whirl. No matter what, don't be afraid to be the first set of foot prints in the snow.
Don't be afraid to leave your mark!

Be mindful. Find joy. Believe in kindness.
And of course, keep sanitizing!
