Message from Deacon Campbell

May is the month of our Blessed Mother. Turn to her in all your needs. Happy Mother's Day to all our Eagle moms!
End of School Year

We have decided to forgo the traditional 90-minute, cumulative final semester exam format for this year. Instead, teachers have the choice whether or not to have an abbreviated end-of-year assessment (again, not a full exhaustive exam). We are also going to follow the same schedule that we use for quarterfinals so that students are not overwhelmed with more than two tests in one day.

Seniors
The last day of instruction for seniors will be  Friday, May 15 . If a senior has an A in the course (both full-year and semester classes) they would normally be exempted from the final exam. We are going to extend this privilege to them for any assessment teachers might be planning to give that last week.

Test Calendar for seniors who do not have an A in the course (subjects modified due to AP test schedule during this week) updated May 6:
Monday, May 11: Theology
Tuesday, May 12: English and Social Studies
Wednesday, May 13: Science and World Language
Thursday, May 14: Math and ( Music, Health, PE, Ind. Art, Social Studies Electives)
Friday, May 15: Non-core B ( Business, Art, Computer Science, English Electives)
Grades 9-11
The last day of instruction for underclassmen will be  Friday, May 22 .
Test Calendar for underclassmen:
Monday, May 18: Theology
Tuesday, May 19: English and Social Studies
Wednesday, May 20: Science and World Language
Thursday, May 21: Math and Non-core A ( Music, Health, PE, Ind. Art, Social Studies Electives)
Friday, May 22: Non-core B ( Business, Art, Computer Science, English Electives)
We plan to leave the week of May 26-29 for locker clean out procedures and textbook turn in (more guidelines and logistics will be forthcoming).

Worth Repeating
Parking for 2020-21

NOTE: When completing the parking form, if you have incoming freshmen in your carpool you will not be required to enter their ID#.
Primary registration for the 2020-21 parking lottery is currently underway via Google form, May 5-7. Only rising juniors and seniors are eligible for a Bishop Watterson parking lot spot. Only carpools with three or more students may be registered during this window.

Instructions for carpools of fewer than three students will be issued after the initial registration window. Please note: any primary driver must have a valid license by October 31, 2020 to be considered for a spot.

Instructions and necessary forms were published on the BWHS website on the afternoon of Friday, April 24.
Keep Pandemic Prayers Going

Each school day morning we post our traditional prayer for that day on our social media accounts. In the evening we post about a patron saint, asking for intercession for us during this time. These prayers can also be found on a special page on our website, along with other faith-related resources and pandemic communication and links.
