The health, safety and welfare of our property owners, residents, employees, visitors and businesses are priority one for Hot Springs Village. We encourage social distancing or sheltering in place to prevent COVID19 from spreading in our community.
Many of our local businesses offer delivery, online ordering, gift certificates and other creative methods to serve their customers while maintaining safe distancing. Please support these businesses.
Today, Gov. Asa Hutchinson said that he has signed an executive order extending the state of emergency for 45 days
. He also announced that the restrictions for out-of-state travelers who are not from COVID-19 hot spots are lifted.
Hutchinson said that Arkansas is at 3,496 cases, of which 2,050 have recovered. Of those, 89 people are hospitalized and 16 are on ventilators. There have been 83 deaths in Arkansas.

A statewide map is available that shows national, state and county numbers in regards to COVID-19. As of May 5 at 2:30 p.m., the United States deaths attributed to COVID-19 are 70,110.

Hot Springs Village enters Phase 1 of reopening
The following amenities have entered Phase 1 of three phases of reopening. These follow the template set down by Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and
Opening Up America Again guidelines from the White House
but we have taken some additional steps to ensure our members safety. Please click the links below to view re-opening plans for each amenity area.
Saline & Garland Counties
As the state moves on with reopening, so do Saline and Garland Counties.
"I and other County Officials are monitoring Governor Hutchinson's directives regarding the re-opening of businesses, restaurants, and venues," Saline County Judge Jeff Arey said. "Saline County is currently evaluating how these directives can be put in place in regards to county buildings. At this time county buildings remain restricted to the public with limited access. The public is encouraged to conduct business online, by email, or phone; and to an appointment where an in-person meeting is required."

As of Wednesday, 67 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Saline County and 1,459 have tested negative. Of those testing positive, 54 have recovered. The total number of people who have died in Saline County remains at one.
In Garland County, 117 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 2,540 have tested negative. Of the people infected, 107 have recovered. There have been no deaths resulting from Garland County cases.
