We are getting closer to the start of our winter '20-21 competition season. The AIA most recently pushed back the high school season two weeks. Our current high school basketball and soccer schedules can be found here:

Winter Sports- AIA Modifications and Fan Policy 

The AIA's latest sport specific, covid related modifications for our upcoming winter '20-21 season can be found at the following link:


Arete Prep and the Great Hearts Middle School League will closely follow and use these modifications as we emphasize creating a safe environment for our student athletes and coaches.

As of now, the AIA, GHMSL, and Great Hearts fan policy will NOT allow spectators at our MS and HS competitions. This policy is fluid, and can change based on county and local metrics. Please stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your patience.

Winter Athletics Participation Fees Due

Winter athletics participation fees are due before each team's first date of competition, which is approaching. You can complete payment at the following link:


Payment can also be made via cash or check, made out to Arete Prep. Please contact Coach Conklin with questions or concerns.

Fall Uniform Return 

If you are still in possession of your fall Arete sports uniform, please return it to your coach or the athletic office ASAP. Any uniforms not returned by 1/18 will be billed for accordingly.

Our BSN Sideline Store remains open, and offers a wide variety of gear including t-shirts, sweatshirts, backpacks, hats, and much more! There are many options for customization as well.

Visit East Valley Sports to Order Your Varsity Jacket!
You may now visit East Valley Sports (6306 East Main Street, Mesa, 85205) to inquire about ordering an Arete Prep Varsity Jacket. We have redesigned the Varsity Letter that was distributed at Fall Sports Awards. Please keep in mind that jackets take 7-8 weeks for production. We are very excited to see school pride represented in Varsity Jackets around campus! Jackets are dress code approved but may only be worn by the owner.

REGISTRATION FOR A SPORT


1. Complete the Athletic Online Enrollment. (Must be completed by a parent/guardian.) 

2. Every athlete must submit a physical on the approved AIA Physical Forms. Physicals are good for 12 months and must be resubmitted annually. 

3. Submit the athletic fee. All middle school sports (including archery) are $260. All high school sports are $300. Select Online Payment to pay by debit/credit card online, or you may submit cash, check, or money to the front office. 

4. (HS ONLY) If not previously completed, every high school athlete must complete the Brainbook Concussion Course. The AIA will notify Arete electronically once the student has successfully completed the course. High school athletes are required to complete this course only once during their high school career. 

All items must be completed and turned in before your student may participate in their sport.
