> positive cases and *unvaccinated siblings and unvaccinated students determined to be close classroom contacts will be quarantined for 5 full days

> asymptomatic students may return on Day 6. Masks must be worn Day 6 through Day 10. Alternatively, the student may return on Day 11

> students returning from a positive Covid 19 result may not participate in extracurricular activities Day 6 through Day 10

To participate in extracurricular activities, a close exposure must have a negative test taken on Day 5 or after.

Masks must still be worn Day 6 through Day 10. Alternatively, the student may return on Day 11.

Fully Vaccinated siblings or students determined to be close classroom exposures with no symptoms, do not have to quarantine after exposure.

Tests are recommended for any exposure to a Covid Positive person on Day 5 or after.
COVID-19 TRAVEL PROTOCOL
A reminder that SFX and the Archdiocese of Chicago follow the City of Chicago travel guidance. CLICK HERE for the City of Chicago's Covid 19 Travel Advisory.

We continue to follow the City of Chicago's classification of "orange" states, maintaining our travel quarantine requirements for non-vaccinated individuals.

Domestic Travel to an "Orange" State

> Fully Vaccinated students/teachers/staff do not need post-travel Covid 19 testing or self-quarantine as long as they are not symptomatic and provide proof of vaccination.

> Unvaccinated students, teachers, & staff must quarantine for 5 days OR provide proof of a negative test, taken after travel and as close to the start of school as practical, but no earlier than 72 hours prior to returning home. Persons must quarantine until a negative test is received. If the test result is negative, no further quarantine is required.

International Travel

> The CDC currently requires a negative Covid 19 test or proof of recovery to board a plane to the US. Because of this requirement, no quarantine is required upon arrival regardless of vaccination status.

Thank you for the many parents who have used Click & Clap again this year to let an individual Teacher, Staff Member or Administrative Team Member know that they are appreciated! Your words of encouragement mean so much!

Click & Clap is our year-round positive recognition program allowing families to acknowledge special moments, and thank a SFX Faculty or Staff member for something they have done that has left a positive impression on your child or on your family in a special way. Click & Claps are shared with the named faculty or staff member by Mrs. Garcia.
