Every lover with a heart that loves Baba is a center."

Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,

Greetings from your family at Meher Center.

As we near the end of summer, more and more people are asking about the Center’s reopening; if even in a limited way. While working toward that goal, Meher Center's board of directors has decided to wait until three weeks after Labor Day before making any decisions, as epidemiologists are predicting an increase in Covid-19 cases following the holiday.

Next week, you will receive an email from the board informing you of a community-wide virtual meeting that will address reopening the Center.

We are all missing being in His presence at His home, the place He loves so well, and where His love is so palpable to those pilgrims who visit. The board is moving with careful steps, and in ways we hope would please the Beloved when considering the well-being of both pilgrims and staff.

By His grace, we hope to see you soon at Meher Center.

In Baba’s love and service,

Buz Connor

"Always be conscious of His Presence"
K.K. Ramakrishnan was a lifelong disciple with intimate contact with the Beloved. Here he talks about his coming to Baba, seeing Him for the first time and recognizing Him as the Christ. Baba's message to him was to be cheerful and spread His message. Inspired by that, Ramakrishnan started the Poona Center with Baba's permission. Baba personally opened this Center and gave Darshan to thousands. This sharing of his life with Baba is full of simple reflections on how to love Him and continue to remember Him.

"Nothing matters but love for God"
Adele Wolkin was a philosophy student at Columbia when she and Filis Frederick met Elizabeth, Norina, and Nadine at their apartment in New York. In the three women’s presence, and their talk about Baba, Adele found something that she had been looking for but missing in her intellectual search for meaning. In this talk, she describes her developing relationship with Baba’s remarkable Western disciples, her breathless wait for Baba’s arrival, and her eventual meeting with Him at the Center in 1952.
