NEW! Stay at Home Advisory from Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker
Effective November 6, 2020
Greetings!

The new Massachusetts Stay at Home advisory begins today. To comply, you must:

  • During the hours of 10p-5a only leave home to go to work or school, or for essential needs such as seeking emergency medical care, going to the grocery store or pharmacy, picking up take-out food, or receiving deliveries.

  • When you leave home, practice social distancing.

  • Wear face coverings when in public.

Working after 10? Keep your badge handy!
If you are approached by a member of law enforcement after hours, present your ABC badge so they know you are working as this is acceptable per the Governor's order.

As a team you have all done a great job keeping our clients, your families and yourself safe during this pandemic. Keep up the great work!

Reminder: ABC COVID Travel Policy
Based on the recent spikes in COVID-19 cases in so many US states, for the safety of our staff and clients we have implemented a temporary COVID Travel Policy. Also, if you travel out of the state to any location that is a COVID hot spot it is your responsibility to inform ABC Home Healthcare of your travel.

ABC COVID Travel Policy
ABC Home Healthcare discourages travel to those parts of the country that are having spikes in cases or designated as a “hot spot” by the CDC. Any employee who travels to these areas should receive a COVID test within 72 hours and will be required to provide negative test results before returning to work or you will be required to quarantine for 14 days.

Preparing for Flu Season
GET YOUR FLU SHOT!
Especially during this pandemic, it is more important than ever before to make sure that you get your flu shot. If you haven't done so already, you can easily go online and book an appointment to get your flu shot at your local pharmacy such as CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid etc.

Symptoms of the flu and COVID-19 can be very similar and it can be difficult to determine which one is which. Visit this site for more information on COVID and the flu so you can keep yourself (and others) safe and healthy.
Survey: Did you get your flu shot yet?
ABC recommends all healthcare workers have a flu shot. Did you get your flu shot?
Yes, I have received my flu shot.
