Project Backpack
Education is a key to success for the children in our community. Your support makes all the difference for a child like James.

James faced overwhelming hardships from a very young age. Separated from his mother at birth due to her drug addiction, James lived with different family members throughout his childhood. Money was scarce and James often went hungry. When an older aunt passed away, James entered foster care and then a group home. Because of your support James received gifts last holiday season and thanks to constant and consistent support he is setting goals for his future.

There is a continued need for your support to help James prepare for the start of a new school year. Your gift to Project Backpack will help James get off to a strong start this school year. Donations are still being accepted. Click here to make your donation.

Help support a child's education and make a difference in our communities. Thank you to all of you who made an investment to support a child in a path to healing and learning:

There are so many needs in our community right now, and thanks to all of you there is help available. Thank you for recognizing the need and for taking action and investing your time and resources:

1. To all of you at the Moms Helping Moms Foundation - your donation of diapers has relieved stress and the financial burden many moms are facing during this challenging time. Because of you, parents are empowered to provide the best possible care to their little ones and babies have the security and comfort of clean diapers. Thank you for caring for families in need.

2. Thank you to Thy Kingdom Crumb (TKC), a nonprofit organization founded by Carson Wentz and organized through the Carson Wentz A01 Foundation, for your enormous contributions to the community, including your recent donation of boxes of groceries to help essential workers at Center For Family Services. Thank you for thinking of these staff who help others every single day. Your generosity and commitment to community is appreciated.

3. Faye Bowie -Thank you for using your time and your talents to offer a yoga for a cause class, raising $925 to support emergency needs to aid the children living in emergency shelters and group homes during the pandemic. You continue to provide important help when needed most. Thank you for all you do to help children in need.

4. Diaper donations and other newborn essentials are an ongoing need. Plus, because of your donation, Jasmine had the chance to pick out a new backpack this week and the school supplies she needs for hybrid learning this fall. Thank you for helping Jasmine in her journey toward healing and building a strong foundation for a bright future.
