On the Ides of March, 45 Mercy students took the National Latin Exam with over 150,000 students from all 50 states and 24 foreign countries. Results will be announced mid-April. Bonam fortunam omnibus!

On Saturday, March 19, Mercy Quiz Bowl competed in Detroit Country Day's Charity Quiz Bowl Tournament. The Mercy A team of captain Caitlyn Begosa '22, Meghana Govindaraj '22, and Carly Madden qualified for the championship division and placed 5th overall. The Mercy B team of Carson Kecskes '24, Miranda Lebednick '24, and captain Isabella Merucci '23 placed 11th.
A special congratulations to Caitlyn Begosa '22, who finished 3rd individually overall, winning a prestigious Book Award. Caitlyn was also the top-scoring player in the Literature category.

This is a reminder of the communication in regard to the Mercy HS Enrollment Agreement for the 2022-2023 school year available online here. Please complete the enrollment forms along with your non-refundable deposit by March 31, 2022 to ensure the best programs and elective offerings for your daughter.

AOD Rose Mass and Lecture
All those who serve in the medical field are invited to join the AOD for the Rose Mass on the Fourth Sunday of Lent, March 27, at 10:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Vigneron at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary Chapel. BAGGOT STREET SPEAKER SERIES

Attention Students & Staff! Campus Ministry is very excited to host our fourth Baggot Street Speaker of the year, Kathleen Walker on Thursday, April 7 during 4th hour. Her session will focus on the two Mercy Critical Concerns of Women and Racism. She will remind us of the history of where we have come from with the civil rights movement to where we are now.

UDM Tuition Up for Bid at the Auction
Is your daughter considering the University of Detroit Mercy next fall? Do you have another child who attends UDM? If so, you might be interested in hearing that, at this year's Annual Auction, you can bid on one academic year of undergraduate tuition for the 22-23 school year. STEM Scholarship Opportunity
Are you a Mercy Senior interested in STEM? We are pleased to inform you about the Frank Minolli Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Scholarship opportunity and application. There are two one-time scholarships in the amount of $3,000 each to be paid to the university where a Mercy Class of 2022 graduate will attend in the fall. Please be sure to have your graduation gown approved by May 1. In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, every student must have her white graduation gown approved by Dr. Kreger or her assistant, Mrs. Wojcik. Graduation gown requirement letter found here.
