Peace-bringing prayer for this week
O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Does Your Child Love to Sing?
We are hoping to put together a virtual song or two for the children this fall! At this point we will accept children of all ages. At least one of the songs would be intended for Christmas Eve, but the rehearsing and recording would need to take place sooner (think October and November). The idea would be for Ms. Kerry Court, Boys & Girls Choir Director, to rehearse with children over Zoom three or more times. The days/times of these rehearsals would be scheduled so as to be convenient for the greatest number of people. Individual coaching may be available. Please email Kerry (bgcdirector@stmarks.net) if you are interested or have questions.
Youth and Family Ministries Assessment Report
We are continuing in the next stages of our work with Ministry Architects! Our first public step was an assessment report that our consultant Sean Williams has worked on with the help of Michele, myself, survey respondents and our Christian Education leaders Susan and Greg. It was presented in early August and we are excited this the year of framing of our youth ministry is continuing. The report can be found here.
Growing with God
Check out our weekly video series, Growing with God. Each week we read a bible lesson, ask questions and pray together.

New videos will be released on Fridays. See the latest episode here!

Community
A Community That Supports
The St. Mark's community wants to make sure everyone in our community is okay during this time. St. Mark's parishioners are looking for ways to assist each other with all sorts of needs. Click Here to let us know if you need help with something, if you are nervous that you may need help soon, or if you are able to provide help in the coming days. Your information will be kept confidential.

We also want to make sure we are looking after people who might not have access to the internet. If you suspect someone else might need support, please be their bridge. We want everyone to minimize risk to themselves in this time. We'll get through this together.
