AWARES 2020-2021 Applications Now Open
Apply today for next year's program!
The AWARES program is for women engineering students to equip them with necessary social skills for a smooth transition to work place and a successful career in the engineering professions. 

Program schedule: 
AU 20: September 23 - November 19, 2020
SP 20: January 13 - April 21, 2021
One week you meet with your mentor individually. Alternating weeks you will have learning community meetings either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening.

Financial Support
The Student Emergency Fund is available to students who may otherwise be at risk of dropping out of college due to an unexpected financial emergency. If you, or a student you know, are experiencing an unplanned expense, the Student Emergency Fund may be an option. Their office is accepting applications and may be able to award up to $1,000 to eligible students.  Learn more and apply .
Career Services
Virtual Appointments Available!
Both  CFAES Careers and  Engineering Career Services have moved to virtual appointments. While many in-person career and internship events have been cancelled, there are still many virtual opportunities to connect with employers. Be sure to stay up to da te on the latest virtual events through  Handshake .

Engineering students: If your post-graduate or summer employment has been impacted by COVID-19, please contact ECS at eng-ecs@osu.edu . In addition, graduates are eligible to continue services from ECS via Handshake in order to obtain a position after graduation.
Counseling and Consultation Services
Virtual Appointments Available!
CCS will be providing their offerings virtually and online. Drop-In Workshops will be recorded so you can access them at any time. Students do not pay a counseling fee.
If you are in distress, please know we are here to help. Students may contact CCS at any time by calling 614-292-5766. If calling after hours, press 2 to be connected to a counselor.

Student Wellness Center
With the closure of the RPAC, the Student Wellness Center will be moving to a virtual format for many of their programs and services. The following appointment types will be available via CarmenZoom:

Computer Lab Access
Remote access to all engineering and KSA computer laboratories (including AE 101 and 120) has been established,  https://ets.osu.edu/services-help/keep-learning-remote-learning-resources-students . Although you may have swipe access as a major in a particular program, you should not be accessing the computer labs in order to print. If you are being asked to print something out and do not have a printer, please ask the instructor for alternatives. Again, please feel free to email me directly ( shearer.95@osu.edu ) should you have questions or concerns relative to online instruction in ASM, CSM or FABE courses. 
Scholarships
Ohio No-Till Council
Due May 1st
Five scholarships are being awarded ranging from $500-$1,000. These are o pen to children and grandchildren from a farming background, who are enrolling or are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year accredited college program. Scholarships are open to all incoming freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior students.

Ohio EPA Scholarship
Deadline Extended to June 1st!
Eligible students must have an overall GPA of at least 3.0, provide letters of recommendation and evidence of career motivation. The scholarship is avaliable for students from a wide range of majors.
