Well, the news came down and we now know where we stand...seven more weeks of remote learning. A tough pill for all of us to swallow, but swallow we must, for the good of the children. (We're certainly getting a lot of practice modeling good character for them!)

At our faculty and staff meeting next week we will be discussing how best to maximize the learning time left for this year. It's going to be crucial for us to continue our partnership providing grade level curriculum to each child. I recognize how difficult it is to keep your child motivated, especially when they're away from their friends and regular school structure, but this is a critical learning time. We want them to be as prepared as possible for next year. Continued effort throughout this trying time is of the utmost importance.

Many of you have inquired how final grading will be determined for this time period. We're working on an assessment plan as we speak. Just know, effort (past and future) is going to play an important part in the grading process.

It was great to see so many of you at the reverse parade. Hang in there! We can get through this together!

Peace and God's blessing.

Ms. Ann E. Dougal
Principal

Food For Thought

"The last degree of love is when He gave Himself to us to be our Food; because He gave Himself to be united with us in every way."

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
