Rescuing Calypso... Shadow Husky Rescue received a call from the Santa Maria Animal Shelter asking us to help save Calypso's life! He was scheduled to die on the 27th and Connie and Barb from Santa Maria Animal Shelter took their own time to meet President of Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc., Tim McVicker, at the Grapevine to drop Calypso off with us! Calypso's meet and greet with his new family went great and they adopted Calypso on the spot!! It was meant to be! Connie and Barb made such a great celebration video while waiting to drop off Calypso, with a cake and everything!! [Watch the Video Here]

Events in August Habit Fundraiser for SHR On August 27th we held a fundraiser at The Habit in Menifee, CA. The Habit donated 10% of all sales to Shadow Husky Rescue for Mally!! Thank you to everyone who came out!

Thank you Troop 1528! Girl Scout Troop 1528 came out to our PetSmart Adoptions to learn about the rescue and hang out with our huskies! They donated $100 to Shadow Husky Rescue from their cookie sales! Such a great group! Adoption Events Shadow Husky Rescue is at PetSmart in Menifee, CA from 12pm-3pm every Sunday trying to find forever homes for our rescues and surrender dogs! Come out, say hi, and maybe even bring home a new family member!
