Chanukah Campaign
Chevre Friends

Please support our work. Give generously, as your heart dictates.
On Chanukah, we light a Menorah for 8 nights with 8 candles, each an enduring symbol of our unity and vitality, reminding us of our first sacred structure, the Temple, where the Menorah once stood.   These candles must be lit by a Shamash, a "utility" candle. The Shamash speaks to the mission, enterprise, and values of Synagogue Council of MA. We assist and empower congregations, today's sacred structures, statewide, across all lines of affiliation, enabling them to shine their brightest. This mission ensures the strength and unity of our collective community, our Kehillah.
How do we make an impact?
  • Presidents' Leadership Forum.
  • Seminar Series: Fundraising for Congregations.
  • AREV MA Grants: Honoring the life and legacy of Anita Redner z"l.
  • MAAVAR: Resources for congregations in transition. Clearing house for sacred objects; Individualized consulting; Pro-bono legal services.
  • Connecting congregations to each other and to community resources.
The impact of every dollar you give is multiplied through our role as a Shamash, an empowering, "utility," candle.
Please support our work. Give generously, as your heart dictates.
Thank you and Happy Chanukah, Chag Urim Sameach
