Events
URISA GIS Leadership Academy - Hopefully, we'll be able to host three in-person GLAs in Minneapolis (June), Portland (August), and St Petersburg, FL (November) in 2021. In addition, we will plan to offer one or two virtual Academies next year, as travel restrictions will likely still be in effect, particularly in the first quarter.

Grab your seat at one of the in-person programs and/or stay tuned for a virtual program announcement.

GIS/Valuation Technologies Conference - This year's conference was supposed to occur in late March in Louisville, Kentucky. Due to the pandemic, that event was canceled outright. For 2021, IAAO and URISA have decided to host a virtual event.

Most of the speakers who were planning to present this year have enthusiastically agreed to do so during the virtual event, which will take place in mid-March 2021.

The planning committee is currently organizing the virtual program and discussing sponsor opportunities. Much more coming soon!

GIS-Pro 2021 - We all hope that we can meet in person in Baltimore this October for GIS-Pro 2021. Conference planning will begin soon with a Call for Presentation Proposals, so start thinking about what you might like to share. We know that anything can happen between now and then and that travel will likely still be a concern/issue. We will certainly incorporate some sort of virtual component to the conference next Fall.
