Holiday Schedule Update
Dear St. Giles Families,

Today we received information from the Archdiocese regarding a transition from in-person to remote learning for all schools following Christmas break, specifically January 4th-19th. I have included the letter from Dr. Rigg below outlining further details. You will also receive it directly from the Archdiocese later this afternoon.

By shifting to remote learning on January 4th, families, faculty, and staff can travel and/or gather with loved ones for Christmas and quarantine before returning to school on January 19th. We ask that you take advantage of this schedule and plan your holiday gatherings accordingly. By holding your celebrations with loved ones outside of your immediate family on Christmas rather than Thanksgiving, you will be keeping our school community safe and our Pride quarantines to a minimum. We know that will be a sacrifice for many, and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

If you do travel or attend gatherings over Thanksgiving, we ask that your child(ren) learn remotely from November 30th through December 11th.  Our teachers will work with you to make that as seamless as possible.

Our faculty and staff will meet next week to discuss this updated schedule and the planning it will require. We know you will have questions and hope to be able to address them next week.

In the meantime, please continue to be safe, avoid large gatherings, and keep masking!

Stay well,
Meg
