HBA/HYLA Supervised Practice Matching Program
The HBA and HYLA are teaming up to pair law school graduates awaiting their bar exam results and employers with short-term work opportunities. Time is running out to sign up as a supervising attorney and there are approximately 20 qualified law school graduates who would like to be matched. Houston Volunteer Lawyers needs your help to take cases for evictions, guardianship, Chapter 7, veterans, and Spanish-speaking clients. To help members and voters make informed decisions at the polls, the HBA conducted the 2020 Judicial Preference Poll. Visit hba.org/poll to see the results. Please note that the poll results are not an endorsement of any candidate or judge on behalf of the HBA.
