We wanted to call you attention to an important voting-related item that may affect some Morgan Hill residents. Voters who believe they mistakenly received a notice in the mail from the Registrar of Voters indicating their options for voting in the March 3, 2020, Presidential Primary Election as a "No Party Preference" voter may need to re-register with their party of choice. The re-registration deadline is February 18, 2020.The Registrar of Voters' Office distributed information explaining which voters may be affected and that information is now available on the City's website . The information includes a detailed description and contact information for any questions.

On behalf of the City of Morgan Hill we wish you warm and wonderful holidays. Here's to a new year and a new decade! We look forward to your ongoing engagement in all aspects of community life and local government in 2020.

As part of its commitment to healthy living, The Walt Disney Company has teamed up with the National Recreation and Park Association on Meet Me at the Park — a program that provides opportunities for new, inclusive play spaces that increase physical activity and play for children and families across the country. The collaboration is an opportunity to give back to the places that shape so much of our lives and inspire kids and families to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

The City of Morgan Hill received a $30,000 National Parks and Recreation Association Meet Me at the Park grant and committed $30,000 in matching funds from park impact fees to install an accessible adult fitness course at Galvan Park. The new fitness course will encourage an active lifestyle for children and their families, including individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities.
