City Updates:

This fall, the Department of Community Development has been busy reviewing new development projects, meeting with businesses and visiting construction sites. Lots of exciting things happening in the City!

RIBBON CUTTINGS
Fastback Physical Therapy had a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on September 14th at 3333 W. Sunny Slope Rd. They held off on doing a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony until now due to COVID. They have been in business for a couple of years in New Berlin and are currently expanding their footprint into the neighboring tenant space!

Fastback Physical Therapy offers a variety of physical therapy services, exercise classes and health & wellness seminars.

Lions Park held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the new playground officially opening this fall! The playground, which is the first of this design in Wisconsin, features inclusive play components, poured-in-place surfacing and accessible pathways. Thanks to all of our contractors, Parks/DPW crews and City Council for helping to make our vision for this playground become a reality!

We are already planning for a second phase to start construction in the spring. This phase will include adding swing bays and an ADA compliant swing to allow for those in wheelchairs the ability to swing with their friends. Similar to the playground, this swing will be the first one installed in Wisconsin and we are so excited to be able to provide this play component to the community!
