Top 50 Chapter Symposium
Our New Haven chapter was honored by ASCM as one of the top 50 chapters in the United States for education sales for the 2018-2019 program year. The award ceremony will be held January 23-26 in Orlando, Fl. Two officers of the New Haven chapter will be attending.
CPIM Offerings
We are currently holding two sessions of CPIM Part 1, one of them at Assa Abloy in New Haven, and the other at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. As neither class allows outside attendees, we did not advertise these classes. The Part 2 classes will begin at both sites in February and end in May, 2020.
In the past year, we have also held CPIM classes at Cooper Surgical in Trumbull and Medtronic in North Haven.
We are currently talking with another potential customer in the New Haven area about offering the 2020 version of CPIM (both parts) beginning in late Winter, 2020. This company has expressed a willingness to host outside attendees. Keep watching your email for an announcement early next year.
We are also thinking about offering CPIM in a less traditional format. One option would be 3 7-hour Saturdays for Part 1 and 6 more sessions for Part 2. A survey will be coming shortly where you can express your interest in this format.
CSCP/CLTD Possibiities
We are not offering either of these curricula at present, due to a lack of expressed interest. If enough of you folks email me indicating an interest in either certification, we will offer classes.
