First, I'd like to thank all those who assisted in handing out coats to our local families in need. On Sunday, December 12, following the 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM Masses, six boxes worth of coats were distriuted to boys and girls in the St. Joseph's Church basement though the Coats for Kids Program.

I also ask that you please continue to keep Charles Giles in your prayers as he recovers from the coronavirus and underlying lung issues.

I look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on Thursday, January 13.

Coats for Kids

On Sunday, December 12, Members of Council 486 handed out six boxes worth of coats to families in the Saint Joseph's Church basement. The Coats for Kids program affords councils across North America to purchase new winter coats at a discount to distribute to children in need in their local communities.

Cleanup at Holy Spirit Parish

On Saturday, December 4, John Maney, assisted by his son-in-law, Steven Merschen, PGK, dedicated the entire day to cleaning and organizing the parish center at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahwah, New Jersey.
