Seattle Marriott Redmond hosts Mingle & Jingle Community Connections Event!
The Redmond business community kicked off the holiday season and toured the Seattle Marriott Redmond's multi-million dollar renovation of its public spaces, including the new Brown's Stockyard Exchange restaurant, highlighting Redmond's legendary past. The Redmond Historical Society , the featured non-profit, was on site to share insights into our city's history!

Attendees donated over 75 pounds in contributions to Hopelink for this year's Community Connections Food Drive.

Save the Date! Eastside Regional Economic Forecast

This second annual regional economic forecast event will again offer valuable insights from Chris Mefford, President and CEO of Community Attributes Inc . , to help business and community leaders translate economic trends into competitive intelligence to successfully plan for the future. Gaming Industry Launches Lobbying Effort to Shield Smartphone Games from Washington Gambling Laws

Gaming industry and civic leaders in Washington state are launching a new lobbying organization today called Game On WA. The effort is in response to a federal court decision last year that cast uncertainty on the legal status of smartphone games with in-app purchases in Washington state. OneRedmond's Kristina Hudson, former Governor Gary Locke, and Michael Schutzler, CEO of the Washington Technology Industry Association are the co-chairs.

NASSCOM Delegation from India Visits Eastside

Over twenty tech business delegates from NASSCOM , India's premier tech trade and chamber organization in India, visited the Seattle region and was hosted by OneRedmond on December 5th and 6th. Speakers from Facebook Reality Labs, Microsoft, Google, UW GIX, Washington State Dept. of Commerce, Davis Wright Tremaine, Banner Bank and many others gave the group insight into doing business in the state of Washington and the Seattle area.

Featured Event - Together Center Funder's Forum

After nearly thirty years of operating a one-stop collaborative Eastside hub of over 20 human services, Together Center has paid off its mortgage and is now ready to leverage its 2.5-acre site in Redmond to best serve the entire community now and into the future. The organization envisions a campus for the whole person, combining 280+ units of affordable and workforce housing with 45,000 SF of space of services.

Join this event to learn more, engage and advice. This is not a fundraising meeting.
