In July, College of Education and Human Ecology Dean Donald Pope-Davis hosted a delegation from Ohio State to meet with GOHi and Addis Ababa University (AAU) leadership and discuss research and collaboration opportunities. The delegation included Vice Provost James L. Moore, along with other faculty and staff from the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE), Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. While in Addis Ababa, the team presented at a Master Class on Research Methodology Capacity Building during the 2nd Higher Education Forum for Africa, Asia and Latin America. During the delegation's time in Addis Ababa, EHE Dean Pope-Davis and AAU Academic Vice President Emebet Mulugeta planted a sapling at the Botanical Gardens as part of Ethiopia's One Million Trees planting day. |
