TY Lin International - City of Delray Beach
Bicycle-Pedestrian Master Plan

TMS is on the T.Y. Lin International team to coordinate public outreach for the City of Delray Beach Bicycle-Pedestrian Master Plan Project. We are developing collateral materials, building a project website, setting up individual meetings and focus groups and monitoring a project hotline to ensure stakeholders are provided quick responses to any questions or concerns. The purpose for this project is to develop a citywide Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan that reflects the needs and desires of the community. This master plan will help the Public Works Department develop and prioritize a list of projects. The Planning Department will use it to update land development regulations (LDRs). T.Y. Lin International (TYLI) is a full-service, professional engineering firm focused on the planning, design, and construction of infrastructure solutions for public and private clients worldwide. Their team approaches each project believing that consensus can be reached and are as passionate about the planning process as they are about the actual plan. TYLI’s South Florida offices are in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

Education Partners International and TMS
Make a Great Team!
TMS has the great pleasure of working with Education Partners International (EPI), for the past several years, providing strategic advice and introductions to School Board Members and senior staff. EPI recruits and places the world’s best international teachers in K-12 public, independent, and charter schools in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. Capably run by sisters Jenna and Jacqueline Gulla, EPI offers students cultural exchange opportunities by partnering with school districts to provide international teachers. Jenna, Jacqueline and their colleagues mentor, monitor and stay involved throughout each teacher’s 5-year engagement. EPI is thrilled to sign a contract with the Palm Beach County School District, adding this district to Orange, Osceola, Okeechobee, Polk, Nassau and Duval Counties. EPI is an Exchange Visitor Program authorized to sponsor J-1 Visa approved teachers under the Fulbright–Hays Act of 1961. EPI teachers are fully vetted, meet all teaching requirements, and receive 24/7 personal and professional support. EPI is dedicated to improving cultural awareness and mutual understanding and preparing students to be competitive in our global economy.

Sally Says, by Sally Merchant Chief of Security
I am so glad Christmas and New Year’s Eve are over!  No more being dressed in undignified tight sweaters.  No more flashing lights that give me canine PTSD and make me want to bark my face off.  Mom says everyone needs New Year resolutions, so here are mine:  I will try to actually eat a golfer this year.  I will improve my stealth techniques and really scare the crap out of all humans who pass by my yard or office.  I will only eat meals that contain chicken, bacon or cheese – the 3 basic food groups. And I will increase my drool factor when food is not being dropped quickly enough at the lunch table by my work colleagues.  That should about do it for me.  Looks like Miss Julie will be working here soon.  She has grandchildren and smells like them.  I don’t like kids, but they do taste good.  Miss Julie loves canines, so she should be easy to train.  My job is never done.  Mom left me with Aunt Bon for a few days.  When she got back, I was so happy to see her, I almost crashed through the glass door.  Then I smelled Him.  A big blond, yellow lab.  Of all the nerve to cheat on me with a lab.  What kind of dog name is Diezel?  My name is much more ferocious sounding.  A big bulldog girl like me could take a lab with one paw behind my back.  No respect!  Sheesh.  Mom has a few trips coming up.  I hope she doesn’t meet any other canines.  On a good note, who won the National Championship?  That’s right humans.  The Georgia Bulldogs – one of my cousins is their mascot.  Without him they are nothing.  Sorry Mom, I will still watch the ‘Noles with you.  That’s all for now.  Sally
