Message from our School Counselors

We are beginning a new small group focused on support in relation to dietary needs/food
allergies, etc. The purpose of this group is for students to have the opportunity to share their
experiences with each other, discuss coping skills, and have some fun! We hope that students will find comfort knowing that others experience similar challenges/restrictions, etc. This group will begin the week of December 9. Click here for more information.

Founders' Day Celebration

The PTA was founded in 1897 as the National Congress of Mothers by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst, they represented women of imagination and courage. They had a simple idea—to improve the lives and future of all children. They understood the power of individual action, worked beyond the accepted barriers of their day, and took action to change the world for all children.

On February 20, 2020 at 6 PM at La Centre, we will honor those who champion the goals of the PTA founders at our Founders’ Day Celebration. They join an exemplary list of our past winners . Please contact [email protected] with any comments or questions.
