COVID-19 virus has had unexpected and unprecedented affects on the equine industry, including equine media. The AHP Board of Directors announced last week that it will be cancelling the 2020 Equine Media Conference scheduled for May 29-31 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Although it's a disappointment since AHP is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the board of directors recognizes that this is the best decision for our membership and to do our part in halting the spread of the virus.
And we are looking ahead to the 2021 conference in Irving, Texas on May 20-22 and getting a head start on planning.
Here are a few important notices, and you can read more

AHP members are encouraged to spread the news via their media outlets.
Horses and media give AHP purpose, but the heart of the organization is our community of friends and professionals supporting each other. Our industry will make it through this difficult time and come back stronger than ever if we all do our part. If we can do anything to help, please let us know. Stay home, be safe and let's keep #equinemediastrong.
