Servant Sunday - Thank you
Even in a pandemic, DOERS made Servant Sunday extraordinaire! Some 80 ministry slots were filled (and we are still counting) and you stretched yourselves across our city, from Southside to East End and all in between. Your many and varied gifts of time, talent, and resources strengthen the mission of our partner agencies and uplift those who are served. Thank you to one and all who participated and very special thanks to lay leader Margaret Bloor and her planning team: Becky DeCamps, Monica Lewis, Yvonne Gibney, Judy Philpott, and Jennifer Pollard. Also many thanks to our dedicated and creative communications staff. More wonderful photos can be found here.

Our Stewardship Matters
Its Stewardship season, & this is our time to listen to God’s call to us to sustain the mission and ministries of our church. In the coming months we will share some powerful stories about the Holy Spirit moving among us. Pandemic or not, we continue to be Doers because We are the Church.

Our custom of worship and service bond us together as a sacred community. When members of our parish are in need, we love, pray, and support them. Sometimes this is through worship and ministries but it also happens completely organically, as has been the case with Harry Moore and a group of his faithful friends.

Watch Harry Moore share his full story.

We make offerings in thanks for God’s generosity to us. You are invited to participate and support our transformative ministries. We are into the season of Annual Giving for the year 2021, we want to be prepared to fulfill our call to serve. Thank you for pledging online by filling out the 2021 Pledge Commitment.
