The Lytle House Art Initiative Hopes to Install "Canticle of The Sun" mural

Founded in 2019, The Lytle House Art Initiative is dedicated to bringing as much art to Edgewater as possible. The group not only installed the iconic Dolly Parton’s portrait mural on N. Broadway but also created other pieces such as Charlie Chaplin, a parade of kites and more. For the next project, the initiative has been raising funds to install a new mural that would become one of Edgewater’s largest art works. Inspired by the lyrics of St. Francis’s song “Canticle of the Sun,” the mural would paint the whole block by St. Ita church's parking lot with the sun, moon and other natural elements.

The Lytle House Art Initiative hopes to raise $12,000 to bring the mural to life in the Spring or Fall next year. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. You can find the GoFundMe page below.
