St. Michael Catholic School Annual Fund
FAQ Zoom Meeting October 27 at 10AM
The Annual Fund is a symbol of our commitment to the Mission of St. Michael Catholic School. Thank you to those families who have already generously donated! This year's theme, Anchored in Faith, reminds us that our Catholic Faith is central and at the core of the St. Michael experience.
This year we are offering the opportunity for families to learn more about how Annual Fund gifts directly impact our students, hear from this year's chairs Casey and Skip Redd, and ask questions about the importance of the fund. FAQ Zooms will be held Tuesday, October 27 at 10AM. Please sign up for the zoom meeting by visiting the attached link. The Zoom address is available in the sign-up genius link. We hope you will be able to attend!
To learn more about the Annual Fund or to make a gift, please visit the Annual Fund Website. Annual Fund questions may be directed to Director of Development Laura Dols, at [email protected].
How does the Annual Fund help teachers?
Waldemar Karaszewski, Religion, 7th/8th Grade Mr. Karaszewski is thankful for receiving a DOCAT catechism for young people and the addition of new wall maps that help tremendously with his biblical places and the church history lessons. Mr. Karaszewski understands that Annual Fund gifts provided him the opportunity to attend professional development Project Zero at Harvard University. The Annual Fund theme, Anchored in Faith, resonates with his classroom because as a religion teacher, it is very important that students fall in love with a Catholic faith. It is not about knowing Christ but walking with Christ. To encounter Jesus in real life situations. To see Jesus in another person. I strongly believe that St. Michael's students are the church of today. He would like to thank the Annual Fund Donors for providing the resources to make a real change in our student's life! "I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you." Romans 1:8.

This is the last weekend to purchase tickets on-line.
Covid-19 has made this year difficult in so many ways and has highlighted a need to help others while remaining socially distant. We are thankful for our SMCS families and we can still show our Tiger Pride while supporting local businesses who have supported St. Michael.
The PLUS Social Committee has organized Tiger Track to Give Back as our way of giving back to our community while staying safe.
Students received a Tiger Track Give Back flyer in their Wednesday Folder this week. On the flyer, you will find SMCS-family owned businesses as well as businesses who have historically generously supported St. Michael in various ways. As you consider your shopping needs, or when deciding on a local restaurant for dine-in or take out, we invite you to visit the businesses on our Tiger Track as St. Michael's way of saying thank you!
Families who shop 5 or more of these businesses will earn a free dress pass for your students. At checkout, ask for a signature on your Tiger Track. Please turn in the flyer to your homeroom teacher by Wednesday, December 2nd. Flyers are applicable to the entire family. We hope you will join us and help thank these local businesses for supporting SMCS while showing our Tiger Pride!
