Kid's Art Collage Kits-to-Go
Available at Both Branches

While Supplies Last

Collage is a technique of art creation, where items are glued to a piece of paper or canvas. Items to be glued include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, bits of papers, various fiber yarns, and other found objects.
Included in each Kid's Art Collage Kit-to-Go are the following:
Items to be collaged (file folders, a journal, and paper to make cards & bookmarks), along with materials to be glued (various tissue papers, ribbons, fiber yarns, seasonal foam shapes & stickers). A glue stick, pencil, & crayons are also included. Parental supervision is advised with young children.
Each kit contains enough materials for the entire family!  Only one kit per family, please. Have fun art collaging!!

Maryland Manufacturers against COVID 19 Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.: Hear stories highlighting ways Maryland manufacturing stakeholders are working to provide products, services or resources for healthcare workers, hospitals, manufacturing facilities and others in the fight against COVID-19.

STEM of Many Colors, Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.: A diverse panel of professionals will discuss why STEM is key to economic success.

Virtual STEM Parade, Sunday, November 1, 11 a.m.
Take a 10 second of yourself displaying your love for STEM with signs, posters, banners, costumes, and STEM items. Feel free to include others in your video. Send your video and any questions to mdstemfest@gmail.com. Watch the parade on the MD Stem Festival Facebook page.

The Maryland STEM Festival encourages all students, regardless of age, background and experience to take a greater interest in STEM with the hope they will pursue a STEM related/focused career. Maryland is one the few states in the nation to have a state-wide STEM or Science Festival. Events are open to the public, free of charge, family oriented, and FUN!
