Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund Awards

The Mill is pleased to announce two winners of the Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund (EEVF) - "Measure Once, Cut Once" and "Nucle*ART"

Both recipients completed the Everyday Entrepreneur Program and submitted an EEVF application along with a pitch. The applicant pool was narrowed down to two winners and funds are being awarded.

Measure Once Cut Once, LLC’s mission is to help users minimize mistakes and save them time. The owner is a nuclear submarine veteran and knows firsthand how costly mistakes can be. Our goal is to deliver a superior product that is intuitive, cost-effective, and becomes a favorite tool on the worksite. 

Nucle*ART Creator Space seeks to become a fun, community environment that supports education and exploration in the field of S.T.E.A.M. to people of all ages. With the financial support provided by the EEVF, Nucle*ART Creator Space can invest in much-needed equipment such as a microscope, a printer for surface decoration techniques, raw materials for glaze chemistry classes, various studio safety equipment, plus create a robust CRM system and website.
Restart Utah
On behalf of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, The Mill staff, Beth Colosimo, Clint Stoker and Crystal Spagnolo, participated in Restart Utah. The event served as a great opportunity to network with Utah business owners and share hundreds of pitches.

"There is something really magical that happens when you get entrepreneurs together," said Clint Stoker, Marketing Manager at The Mill, "Sharing ideas, contacts and even offering support. Nobody understands a small business owner better than another small business owner."
Fire-Up Your Crowdfunding Panel
The Small Business Development Center, in partnership with The Mill, hosted the "Fire-Up Your Crowdfunding" event. The informative event featured a panel of crowdfunding veterans including Bryce Hansen (moderator), Rusten Gomez (Autospout), and Clint Stoker (Sweet Comics).

The panel discussion was also broadcast live on YouTube.
