City Operations
The next City Council meeting will be on Monday, March 7 at 7:30pm, following the Council Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled to begin at 6:30pm. Both events will be streamed live and can be accessed on the City’s YouTube channel. The agenda can be found on the City's website. Bulk Pick-Up: Week of March 7
Bulk pick-up will occur on your regular collection day the week of March 7. Bulk items are picked up once per month during the first FULL week of each month on your regular trash day; Monday-Friday is defined as a full week. Bulk pick-up is limited to four items per pick-up at no charge. All bulk pick-up items that are fabric must be wrapped in plastic. For additional bulk items, to request collection on any other day, or to request a special collection of loose brush, please use the online form. Cost is $10 per bulk item for a special pick-up.

Tax Season Is Here
Cleveland Heights municipal income tax is collected by the Regional Income Tax Agency, also known as RITA. RITA now offers taxpayers online filing, file by mail, and drop-off services (PDF) for all of your tax documents. To find out more information and resources visit ritaohio.com.

Cedar-Lee-Meadowbrook Update
On March 1, 2022, the Architectural Board of Review granted the final design approvals for the Cedar-Lee-Meadowbrook redevelopment. Besides the project's architectural and urban design approval this week, Flaherty & Collins had previously received the necessary Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning Commission approvals in January and February of this year. The project will now continue with the development of building plans and the approval of the project’s financial details, including the review of any public incentives. CH-UH Preschool Enrollment Begins
Registration appointments for families interested in Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten begins on March 8, 2022. Registration is done by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, or to find out more information, please contact the Early Childhood Department at 216-371-7356 or visit chuh.org.

FutureHeights Neighborhoods Grants
FutureHeights is offering small grants to grassroots or neighborhood groups in Cleveland Heights that have ideas for creative solutions, projects, and programs that build on and enhance existing assets in their neighborhoods. Grants of up to $1,000 to citizen-led neighborhood projects, events, and activities are available. Applications for the spring round of grant-making are due by 5:00pm on Monday, March 15.
