Community
Nonprofit Spotlight at Fall Makers Market
On Sunday, October 4, we joined many local vendors for a fun Sunday of family-friendly activities, high-quality crafts, and a classic Wisconsin Fall experience!

Reach Dane had a booth and a mini-pumpkin painting station for attendees to decorate and take home. The pumpkin station helped raise funds for our HSPC Emergency Fund, which provides immediate emergency funds to our parents.
2021 Giving Tree
The 2021 Giving Tree season has arrived, and we are grateful to have your support for another season of giving magic! This program is possible through the generosity of our Madison community and families who take time and care to share.

The Giving Tree program lets parents build memories with their children and experience the magic of the holidays.
This year's Giving Tree Program is launching early to account for the current global supply chain disruptions. Follow the below link (and please share widely with your personal and professional circles) to purchase holiday gifts for children in need in the Madison community! With the current stocking and shipping delays, please consider purchasing early.

P.S. You can help make the most of your gift with a vote from Target Circle for Reach Dane!
Target Circle Nonprofit Partner- Cast Your Votes!
Friends and supporters,

We are honored and excited to announce that we have been chosen to participate in a special charitable giving campaign, sponsored and funded by Target. And you have the chance to help direct a portion of Target’s donation to us!

Now through December 31, vote for us through the Target Circle program to help determine how Target’s donation will be divvied up.

We’re asking our supporters to help us make the most of this incredible opportunity. Every vote counts to help us receive a portion of the available Target funds. Don’t forget, as you earn more votes, you can keep voting multiple times during the campaign!

Thank you for your support, and we encourage you to share your support for us (and your thanks to Target) on social media throughout the duration of the voting!
MMoC Photo Exhibit

The 2021 MMoCA Gallery Night on Friday, November 12, 5-9 p.m. will feature a photo exhibit of Tanya Esnault, our very own Family Outreach Worker at Union Corners! Her work will be displayed at Stop by Creative Energy Designs, Inc.

Half of her proceeds will support Reach Dane's HSPC Emergency Fund.

Your Journey Together
Your Journey Together is a strengths-based parenting curriculum designed to promote the social and emotional well-being and resilience of vulnerable children and families.

The YJT curriculum focuses on empowering parents and promoting a safe, trusting, and healing environment, all key elements of a trauma-sensitive program.

We are still enrolling families into this program and have been pleased with last program year's launch.
Back to School Social Story

Our Mental Health Team created a social story to help students transition back to in-person learning this fall. Trauma-informed strategies used to help transition children back into our centers are a priority after the unsettled nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is especially so for the most vulnerable children that may experience increased trauma due to chronic housing or food insecurity.
My First pages with Madison Reading Project
Last week Madison Reading Project delivered books to every Reach Dane site to kick off their new program, My First Pages. Each enrolled Reach Dane child will receive five brand new, age-appropriate books in their spoken language every October and April. This effort helps build the kiddo's home library and literacy connection with their caregiver.
Madison Reading Project | My First Pages

Our pilot program will provide 1,000 Dane County children with access to 10 high quality books each year from birth to age 5. My First Pages will increase book ownership and give families opportunities to build early literacy skills. Books will...
