Cal-Neva Chapter Awards nominations are open!
Each year, the Cal-Neva AFS Chapter awards individuals and entities for their professional achievement, service, and contributions to fisheries science, management, and conservation. Now is the time to nominate deserving individuals or groups! The accomplishments of the award recipients will be highlighted in the Cal-Neva AFS newsletter, and they will be publicly recognized at the virtual 2021 Cal-Neva Chapter of American Fisheries Society Conference. The virtual conference will occur from March 1st to 5th, 2021. Award recipients are encouraged, but not required, to attend the virtual conference.
Nominations are due by January 15, 2021 for the following awards: - The Chapter Award of Excellence
- The Chapter Award for Distinguished Professional Achievement
- The Conservation Achievement Award
- The Chapter Award for Scientific Journalism
- The Deacon-Moyle Native Fishes Award
