No Travel until 2022
After much thoughtful consideration, the NHFC Board of Directors, in consultation with tour guides Rick and Wanda Bogin, have reluctantly decided that 2021 will still not be reliably safe to travel.

Therefore, we will wait until the summer of 2022 for the next Friendship Chorus tour.

The Board will be discussing future plans at its next meeting in January, and will continue to keep our members informed.

NEW Refund Information Update
Checks will be mailed out shortly for an additional remaining refund of $250/person.

Rick Bogin was able to get back more money since the last refund checks went out. However, because South Africa Airlines went bankrupt, he was not able to recover all the funds. Therefore, there is an unavoidable loss of $250 each.

How to get refunds from Trip Insurance
Some of us have already received refunds from trip insurance companies, while others extended the coverage for the planned trip in 2021. Travel Insurance companies will most likely not allow further extensions on the plans, so obtaining refunds is recommended.

In the event that you are asked for documentation of the cancelled travel plan, Dennis has written a letter that you can use to facilitate getting a refund of your travel insurance payments. It can be found on our website or by clicking here.

If you still have difficulty getting your money back, please let us know, and we will try to help you through the process to the best of our ability. Another avenue, that was suggested, is to contact the travel trouble-shooter from the Boston Globe at Elliott.org/help or chris@elliott.org

We are all disappointed to wait another year to sing and travel...yet hopeful that 2022 will be a healthier and much safer world to do so.
happy holidays
We wish you and your families the best of health, and happiest of holidays until we can meet again.
