And Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his house, who ruled over all that was his, "Please place your hand under my thigh. And I will adjure you by the Lord, the God of the heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose midst I dwell. But you shall go to my land and to my birthplace, and you shall take a wife for my son, for Isaac."And the servant said to him, "Perhaps the woman will not wish to go after me to this land. Shall I return your son to the land from which you came?" And Abraham said to him, "Beware, lest you return my son back there."

From the desk of our
S.T.E.A.M. Lab
Here in STEAM we are incredibly grateful for all of the new learning materials we were able to bring into our lab. Students have been enjoying learning cause and effect and engineering through a ball run. We are learning and practicing many math concepts through our new shape puzzles and our student-approved measuring tapes. The giant waffle blocks were a huge hit! The engineer-a-coaster has intrigued our critical thinkers, who are now building their own roller coasters, and our car enthusiasts now have a numerical nesting, stacking, sorting tool to help their math skills grow.
Everyone had a great time learning to communicate and work together to engineer and construct some incredible structures. For those brave enough, we also now have giant spiders and other specimens on our light table! Stay tuned for photos of some of our other new items as they rotate into our learning centers.

Senior Israel Trip
The class of 2020's Israel trip is off to a fabulous start! On their first day, the group focused on The Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. They toured the Galil and the Golan. On their second day they toured Rosh Hanikra, Acco, the Mediterranean, and Teveria. Having a great time alongside them are the 2nd grade Flat Stanleys! The younger students are so excited to see and hear about the older students' trip!
