The Wilkes County Library building is open to the public.You must cover your nose and mouth with a cloth covering. Non-medical masks, bandanas, or scarves can also be used. We appreciate your cooperation! Contact-free curbside pickup services are also available. Many services are online. Our website and Facebook page have great programs and materials for you to enjoy. A few programs will be held outdoors at Smoot Park, Yadkin Valley Marketplace, and the Commons in Wilkesboro.

Our Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Week of Oct. 5
Drop your decorated pumpkins off at the library. Make sure the pumpkin is not carved or punctured in decorating it.
Next two weeks:
Vote for the best pumpkin.
Oct. 26 Winner will be announced.

Live Well:
Take Charge of Your Health!
This free series of classes will help you understand medical information to make your best health decisions.
Live Well sessions will be three consecutive Thursdays, October 8, 15, and 22 at 6 pm. Sessions are live and presented through Zoom.
There will be a $100 gift card drawing to Lowe’s Foods from the names of participants who are present through all three sessions.

The Wilkes Mystery Book Club is for people who love true crime, thrillers, and all kinds of mysteries but don't have time to go to book clubs. Copies of each month's selection will be available at the library a month in advance, or you may choose to download the eBook via our Libby app.
