Despite being in our third calendar year of this pandemic, staff, volunteers, and board members have much to reflect on as we prepare our impact report. Still, we must keep our our pulse on the ongoing health crisis.
All of our staff is fully vaccinated and boosted. Our center remains open to help serve our community with mental health services, our food rescue program, housing navigation assistance, and youth programming.
However, county public health data shows an unprecedented number of cases and hospitalizations of the new Omicron variant in San Diego County, including 10,000 new cases every day over the weekend.
