Positive asymptomatic results routed to PCPs: To ensure all patients with a positive COVID-19 test result receive appropriate and timely notification, effective Jan. 25, positive asymptomatic test results are being routed to PCP offices for follow up calls. APP aligned PCP practices will receive your patients' results in the same way you receive other test results from Advocate Aurora.  Unassigned patients will receive outreach from a centralized team.  Note that 90% of asymptomatic testing patients have an active LiveWell account, so they also receive their test results in LiveWell within 24-48 hours. In addition, all patients with positive results and active LiveWell accounts are invited to enroll in our automated virtual symptom monitoring program through LiveWell to receive virtual support and interventions should their symptoms worsen.

Limited visitor policy: As we move out of this COVID-19 surge, all facilities will move to the limited visitor policy effective Jan. 31. Review the Visitor Guidelines regularly for updates and additional details.
  • Hospital inpatients and outpatients: 1 visitor
  • Emergency department: 1 visitor
  • Pediatrics: 2 visitors
  • Ambulatory clinics and surgery centers: 1 support person

Virtual health reimbursement coverage: Refer to the payer overview and summary outlining the latest virtual health insurance coverage changes.
