Dear parents,
We want to share a couple of quick pieces of information with you.
First, we have received a number of messages from families indicating receipt of an inordinate amount of repeat alerts regarding your child's grades. Please know this is not something our teachers are doing. Regrettably, this is an issue with the software for Ascender grade portal. The tech support of the provider of the grade portal software is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it. In the meantime, parents may wish to change their alert settings temporarily until we receive word that the problem has been fixed.
Second, we want to make clear that there has NOT been an announced change in our attendance protocols as part of the next steps to bring more students back to campus. In other words, until specific instructions have been given, all students should continue to attend school in the manner they have been thus far. On October 8, 2020, we sent a message that included a survey to gauge responses and interest families have for their students to return to campus, but no decision has been made yet. In reality, there are a number of families who have not yet responded and we truly need to hear from them. If you have not responded to the survey, please know that we have not closed the link...there is still time. The link to the survey is as follows: Next Steps Return to Campus Survey. It is very important for every family to complete this survey using the link for each child enrolled at Antonian.
