Chinese American Student Association Makes Local Impact

When COVID-19 hit the United States, Jessica Huang, president of the Chinese American Student Association and third-year student majoring in industrial and systems engineering, ordered 200 protective masks to donate to the Ohio At Home Health Care Agency. “We’re working with the Midwest Chinese American Student Association and Chinese American organizations from other schools to raise money to buy masks and other PPE for hospitals and underserved areas,” Huang said.

Faculty Spotlight: Ning Jin

Ning Jin is an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and a medical oncologist who specializes in treating gastrointestinal cancers.

“When I came to Ohio State for the interview, I was impressed by the facilities, the patient medical service environment and the basic clinical research at the Wexner Medical Center,” Jin said. “The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James is a great place to work, especially due to its collaborative culture.”
