Bureau of Workers' Comp 2020 Dividend FAQ
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation's Board of Directors approved to send up to $1.6 billion to Ohio employers this spring to ease the economic impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on Ohio's economy and business community. While you may be accustomed to receiving dividend checks from BWC, this year's dividend was not a foregone conclusion. Gov. DeWine has asked his agencies to do everything they can to ease the strain of COVID-19 on Ohioans. Even after the dividend, the net position of the State Insurance Fund for injured workers remains strong due to investment returns, declining injuries and decreasing reserves. These were items that could easily be produced on a standard printer and immediately put to use; as well as social media graphics and messages to use in order to provide your customers and followers with a sense of calm and understanding of precautions being made.
  • Store Preparedness Flyer (for Customers)
  • Breakroom Flyer (for Employees)
  • Shelf Talkers
  • Register Cards
  • Customer Self-Help Flyer
  • Floor Decals (Social Distancing)
We have recently added new items and included them in the Resource Kit:
A reminder that the Resource Kit and additional Resources can be found on our Coronavirus Response/Information page.
