World Teacher Day
Teachers are knowledgeable leaders who empower their students, drive breakthroughs, and inspire discoveries. ICHS would like to celebrate by recognizing our educators, the true heroes who continue to support their students – and each other – through unprecedented times and hard-earned victories! Thank you for igniting imaginations, creativity, and inspiring our young women to be lifelong learners!
Hispanic Heritage Month

ICHS Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month during our Time For Us Tuesday: Advisory Period! Dr. Morel-Baker, Ms. Manzano, Mr. Rodriguez, Ms. Hammond, Mrs. Vallecillo, and Mrs. Medrano were the speakers and answered questions asked by students about their traditions, cultures, and what they enjoy most about their countries. ICHS believes in the importance of celebrating diversity!
Franciscan Mission and Heritage Week
Prayer Service
Sister Alexander Siegel, Mission Leader and Campus Minister, led us in a virtual prayer and shared profound words about the essence of our core values, to kick off the Franciscan Mission and Heritage Week!
Day of Service
During the Day of Service, students had the privilege to hear and learn from extraordinary Mission Leaders from across the country. Thank you to Sister Mary Timothy and Mrs. Danielle Savastano from Felician School for Exceptional Children in Lodi, New Jersey; Sister Judith Marie Blizzard from Mooncrest Neighborhood Program in Mooncrest, Pennsylvania; Sister Maryann Agnes Mueller from Justice and Peace Commission for Our Lady of Hope in Enfield, Connecticut; Sister Veronica Lucero from St. Ignatius Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Sister Mary Juanita Szymanski from St. Felix Pantry in Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and Sister Maria Louise Edwards from Blessed Angela Spirituality Center in Pomona, California.
Breast Cancer Awareness
The ICHS Administration believes women of ICHS are leaders, empowered to advocate for others and themselves.

As we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, always remember your health matters. Health is such a precious gift, both mental and physical.

Treat yourself kindly, always.
