Return to State!
On August 24, Penn State Schuylkill welcomed students back to campus. Despite the unprecedented circumstances, the entire campus has combined efforts to build a safe space for students, staff, and faculty.
New classrooms were devised by converting larger spaces—like Morgan Auditorium and the gymnasium—that allow for safe distancing. Other safety measures, including hand sanitizing stations, plexiglass barriers, and informational signage have been installed throughout campus.
Penn State Schuylkill faculty developed innovative plans for their in-person, hybrid, and remote classes to ensure that, no matter the method of delivery, Penn Staters would receive the high-quality education the University is known for. Extracurricular activities for students are ongoing, but many have shifted to virtual platforms. And while the fall sports season was canceled, the athletic department team has been developing activities to keep team spirit high and provide skills development, and training and conditioning.
While the semester may look a little different, the campus community has come together to ensure that it is still a valuable and engaging Penn State experience. We Are!

The Alumni Association is committed to keeping all Penn Staters connected to one another and to the University. As part of this commitment, PSAA presents is an eclectic selection of virtual programming, including career-focused workshops, coffee hour-style chats with our CEO Paul Clifford, and conversations with Penn State experts.
All events are free and available to everyone, and we're encouraging Penn Staters to share this information with their professional and personal networks. Many programs are archived and available for viewing with closed-captioning. Visit our website to browse our library of archived programs.
