No need to dwell on the past,
Nor to think about the way things were.
Look, I am doing a new thing.
Even now it’s beginning.
Don’t you see it?
Isaiah 43: 18-19
Mother Nature’s gift, designed by God, is the beauty of colorful leaves of autumn that lets us know the end of summer is here, and winter will soon follow after. This is a poem our own Sister Karen Buco wrote about Mother Nature's gift from God.
Autumn Leaves
Autumn is leaves falling from trees.
Green leaves turning colorful soon,
One by one changing as they choose.

Swaying, swishing, swiftly, swirling.
Gently curling, kissing the grass.
Spreading their warm leafy blanket,
Threading Mother Nature’s new dress.

Leaves being dabbed by God’s paintbrush,
God's masterpiece an awesome hue.
Do you have any favorite fall flavors or treats that you look forward to having at this time of year?: “I cannot imagine what the world would be like without apples and pumpkins. I love the smell of them and all the good things that are made from them like pies, cider and pumpkin rolls. There is nothing like a nice juicy apple during this time of the year.”

Portrait of Patience
Sister Nancy Celaschi snapped this curious photo of Sister Ancy Francis in a contemplative pose on the back porch of Little Flower House convent in Pittsburgh. It is a portrait of patience. When Sister Ancy found a potato almost completely covered with sprouts, she decided to see what happens. Now she is patiently waiting for the abundant harvest ... maybe even that hundredfold.
Enjoying the Harvest
As the Pick-Your-Own program winds down at our Monocacy Farm Project in Bethlehem, Pa., we've been delighted to welcome some young first-timers to the farm. They've enjoyed exploring the fields and picking their own vegetables. The program — which allows visitors to harvest their own veggies and flowers in exchange for a donation — will continue by appointment for the remainder of the growing season. To schedule a time, contact Eli Stogsdill, project manager, at [email protected].
Pure Joy
Indulge yourself in living vicariously for two minutes through Butch the Siberian Husky, as he exudes pure joy while frolicking in autumn leaves.
Far From Alone
The virtual choir featured in this video version of You'll Never Walk Alone harvests the talents of some 300 singers and musicians from 15 countries.
