Christmas Fund - Veterans of the Cross and Emergency Fund Offering

This Christmas Fund Offering is one of the four Special Mission Offerings of the United Church of Christ. It provides a means to assist those who have faithfully and selflessly served and now find themselves with unexpected needs. It provides direct financial assistance to retired and active United Church of Christ authorized ministers and lay employees and their surviving spouses, including pension and health premium supplementation, emergency assistance, and Christmas thank-you checks. The theme of the 2019 offering is “ The Light Shines in the Darkness”.  In the spirit of love, I invite and encourage you to prayerfully consider and support this year's appeal. An envelope will be in the bulletin on Sunday, December 8th or in the church office, for your gift which will be received on December 8, 15, and 22. You may also send your check directly to the church office. Please write "Christmas Fund" in the memo section of your check. In addition to your personal donations, the Mission Team will add money from Missions Funds to make a total donation of $500.  All donations must be received by December 22.  On behalf of the hundreds of clergy and lay employees and their families whose lives have been touched by your support in recent Christmas Fund offerings, I offer my sincere thanks for your generosity and love.
