A Moment for Mission
You are the light. Never let anyone — any person or any force — dampen, dim or diminish your light … Release the need to hate, to harbor division, and the enticement of revenge. Release all bitterness. Hold only love, only peace in your heart, knowing that the battle of good to overcome evil is already won.

A Note from the President

I’m using this space to give another plug for the Parent Speaker Series on February 15th. I’ve been reading Dr. Bono’s book, Happiness 101: Simple Secrets to Smart Living and Well-Being, which focuses on happiness among college students. While the topic is a little different than what we have planned (though we could have him come next year to talk about it), Dr. Bono’s insights line up with what we - and you - see every day. With years of teaching and research behind him, Dr. Bono is a great source of information and I’m sure you’ll enjoy hearing from him on the topic of responsible use of technology.
I hope to see you on the 15th - it will be time well spent!
All my best,
Peggy Slater

- Athletes: Spring Break Info:
- As of November 1, 2019, our policy for spring break is:
- Practices taking place Friday after 5:00 p.m. until Wednesday’s practice time (after 3:00 p.m.) will be excused practices. If you miss any practices outside of those times during break you will be required to sit out for 1.5 games. Also, keep in mind you will need to have 14 practices before your first game to be eligible to play per MSHSAA rules.
Safety Update - Feb. 7-11
This week we had 1 quarantine and 1 positive case. Be assured that if your daughter could potentially be impacted by someone who tests positive, you will be informed as soon as possible. A reminder that quarantine means that students are not allowed to come to school. It also means they should not have contact with others beyond their family outside of school. We are not only trying to protect Ursuline but trying to be a part of the community solution as well.
- Numbers as they stand today (at least one dose of COVID vaccine):
- Students: 70.67%
- Co-workers: 92.0%
