Important Information Regarding the use of ILPMP for 2020 and 2021 Medicaid PI Attestations
 
Please review the Medicaid Program Year 2020 Specification sheet for important information regarding the use of ILPMP for 2020 and 2021 Medicaid PI attestations.  The specification states:  an EP may count a specialized registry (such as PMP) if the EP achieved Active Engagement Option 3 in a prior year.  Active engagement Option 3 - Production as defined in the specification sheet:  The EP has completed testing and validation of the electronic submission and is submitting production data to the Public Health Agency or Clinical Data Registry.

Patient Perspectives on Telehealth - A Webinar

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has necessitated the rapid adoption and scale up of telehealth services.  One barrier to successful implementation of telehealth is lack of patient acceptance.  This webinar will focus on patient perspectives on telehealth and will feature interviews with patients who have received telehealth services in the past few months.  These vignettes will be accompanied by insights into larger trends on patient sentiment regarding telehealth and tips for how your practice can excel on the aspects of telehealth delivery that patients value most.

This event is being cohosted by: MetaStar, Illinois Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (ILHITREC) at Northern Illinois University, Purdue Healthcare Advisors, Altarum, University of Colorado, and the Chicago Health IT Regional Extension Center (CHITREC) at Northwestern University.

Lark Health study shows impact of virtual diabetes prevention program on underserved population.

Startups have been lobbying for federal policymakers to allow Medicare reimbursement for virtual and digital diabetes prevention programs-particularly in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
