Practicing Faith
An Invitation to House Churches
St. Columba's is launching a new worship opportunity, and we'd love for you to be involved! Very simply, the new initiative is to ask members of the parish to host small groups for prayer and fellowship in their backyard. We imagine that this may be no more complicated than a small group of people sitting outside at an appropriate distance reading a scripture passage, listening to a sermon, saying a few prayers, and sharing in the Eucharist. Visit our new House Churches webpage to learn how you may engage in this small group worship.

Homeless Initiative: $30K in 30 Days
We are thrilled to report that St. Columbans have outdone themselves in our 30 Day challenge, with contributions topping the $45,500 mark. As the pandemic wages on, our St. C’s Security Fund expands to fulfill urgent needs for families throughout the Washington area.

If you have not yet made a contribution, please make your online contribution today! Click here and select the "Homeless Initiative" fund, or mail your check to the parish office, with "Homeless Initiative" in the memo line.

If you have already given ... Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you for Living God’s Love!

We are so grateful for the generosity of parishioners and other contributors as we support these vulnerable families during this time of crisis. With the school year beginning, we recognize these families are facing unprecedented challenges as the pandemic endures. Stay tuned to hear plans to support the educational needs of these families for the upcoming school year!
