Nos enorgullece anunciar nuestro primer campamento extracurricular del semestre de otoño en colaboración con la compañía de teatro puertorriqueña Y No Había Luz. 

La inscripción está abierta principalmente a familias de habla hispana con niños de 5 a 10 años. Ahora ofrecemos becas por tiempo limitado solo cuando haya premios disponibles, hasta agotar existencias.

  • Los talleres se llevarán a cabo del lunes, 26 de octubre al viernes and viernes 30 de octubre entre 4:30 pm y 6:00 pm. Via Zoom.

We are proud to announce our first Fall Semester After-School Camp in collaboration with the Puerto Rican Theater company Y No Había Luz. 

Registration is open to primarily Spanish-speaking families with children 5-10 years. We are now offering scholarships for a limited-time only as awards are available, while supplies last.

Con el Otoño Zefirante, la compañía de teatro Y No Había Luz, en alianza con Loisaida Inc., invita a
todas las familias de habla hispana que residan en el bajo Manhattan (Loisaida) y a lo largo de la
ciudad de Nueva York a unirse al Club Centinela.

El programa estará abierto a niñxs entre las edades de 5-10 años. (Para solicitar una excepción a la
edad límite, deberá comunicarse con anticipación).
El Club Centinela es uno de los proyectos más abarcadores de Y No Había Luz, donde niños y adultos

participan en actividades interactivas junto a participantes de todo el mundo a través de una plataforma
virtual.
  • Los talleres se llevarán a cabo del lunes, 26 de octubre al viernes and viernes 30 de octubre entre 4:30 pm y 6:00 pm. Via Zoom.
  • Se requiere la presencia de un adulto en todas las actividades.
  • Cada actividad se realizará a través de la plataforma Zoom de Loisaida Inc.
  • El cupo es limitado. La fecha límite para matricularse y/o solicitar la beca es el 10 de octubre de 2020.
  • Nota importante: Llenar la solicitud no garantiza un espacio o beca. Cada solicitud será evaluada individualmente por un comité de evaluación compuesto por miembros de Y No Había Luz y de Loisaida Inc.

Through art and play-based interactive workshops, the Puerto Rican theater company Y No Había Luz, in partnership with Loisaida Inc, present "Zephyranth Fall", a weeklong after-school virtual program for Spanish-speaking families who reside in the Lower Manhattan Area (Loisaida) and across New York City. Participating families will become member of Centinela Club!

The program is open to children between the ages of 5-10 years old (exceptions to the age limit can be considered if notified in advance).

The Centinela Club is one of the theater company's most comprehensive projects, where children from all over the world can take part in this unique, active virtual experience.
  • The workshops will be held from Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30, 2020 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Via Zoom.
  • The presence of an adult is required during all activities.
  • Activities will be carried out securely through Loisaida Inc.'s Zoom platform.
  • The program has limited spots. The deadline for registrations and scholarship applications is October 10, 2020.
  • Please note: Filling out the registration form and/or the scholarship application does not guarantee an award or spot in the program. Applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of staff members from Y No Había Luz and Loisaida Inc., and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
